The Environment
GlyMed Plus® supports the sustainability of the environment through corporate recycling, energy-efficient powering and environmentally conscience formulas.Our mission is to keep harmful chemicals out of the air, water, soil and our bodies. GlyMed Plus products are proudly formulated in the USA and do not contain artificial colorants, animal by-products, synthetic fragrances, phthalates or lanolin. GlyMed Plus NEVER tests on animals and supports the Humane Society.
GlyMed Plus headquarters, located in Spanish Fork, Utah, is powered by the Spanish Fork Wind Power Plant which generates 55,000 Megawatt hours of renewable energy per year and offsets the dangerous pollutants of other power resources, from being released into the environment.(1)
Charities
The goal of GlyMed Plus is to create a ripple effect of positive changes in people’s lives through our products, education, helping others and charitable donations. GlyMed is proud to donate to the following charities:
GlyMed Plus is helping breast cancer survivors by donating GlyMed Plus professional products during rehabilitation of the skin after the harsh effects of cancer treatment. This program is called Marie’s Gift, in honor of Christine Heathman’s Aunt, Marie Smith Chakirian. Marie passed away in September 1996, but left a legacy of courage for cancer survivors everywhere, including the co-founding of Reach to Recovery sponsored by the American Cancer Society.
GlyMed Plus has committed to carry on Marie’s legacy by assisting breast cancer survivors through the Women Beyond Cancer Foundation.
GlyMed Plus is honored to support organizations that enhance the lives of abused and neglected animals. We are pleased to contribute Pugsley's Choice Natural Pet Care Products and VIP Natural Horse Care Products to these amazing organizations.
Pasado's Safe Haven is one of the premiere animal rescue organizations in the United States dedicated to 24-hour rescue and rehabilitation of dogs, cats, and farm animals. Pasado's Safe Haven has waged numerous prosecutions against animal abusers, winning major convictions. Pasado's Safe Haven offers rewards through the media, to seek out and prosecute those who have committed heinous acts of animal cruelty.
Miracle Horse Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and welfare of abused, neglected and unwanted domesticated horses of all types and conditions. Miracle Horse Rescue does not receive federal or state funding, and relies totally on the generosity of public donations. It is the goal of Miracle Horse Rescue to rehabilitate each horse and place it into a "forever" home through adoption.
